SQUARE INCH PRICE
I charge 0.02 cents per square inch for all designs.
Example: A quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches. 60 x 80 = 4800 x .02 = $96.00

My minimum quilting charge is $45.00 This means that a small quilt or table runner's square inch price will be rounded up to the $45 minimum.
BATTING
I use and stock Quilters Dream Select and Quilters Dream Deluxe batting in the 100% cotton. Limited quantities of Quilters Dream Wool batting, please ask for availability. Bamboo option is by Winline, a high quality 100% bamboo product in 6 oz loft.

Batting is a separate charge and is NOT included in the square inch price.
I charge for batting by the yard from queen rolls of batting that are 93" wide, except in the case of special orders. I will use only what is needed for your quilt (smallest side + a 5" margin) and charge per yard.

Quilters Dream: Select 100% Cotton Natural ($10.50 /yard)
Quilters Dream: Deluxe 100% Cotton Natural ($12.00 /yard)

THREAD
I do not charge any extra fees for thread use, it's included in your square inch price. I use OMNI and Glide thread, both are high quality polyester threads.
Personally I like to match or blend thread color with the lighter areas of your quilt. But this is YOUR quilt! Let me know if you have a preference on thread color.
SHIPPING
Shipping your top and backing to me: I live in New Hampshire, USA, and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. I'd recommend sending your materials enclosed in some kind of sack or bag to protect against possible moisture in transit and then placed in a hard-sided cardboard box. Make sure the box is securely taped and labeled clearly.
Return shipping: I will send your quilt back to you via USPS Priority mail (using flat rate when possible/economical). Priority mail comes with $50 of insurance and a tracking number but please indicate on your intake form if you would like me to buy any additional insurance on your behalf. It's a great idea to insure your valuables against loss or damage while with the Postal Service, but I don't require it.
